This review will compare and contrast the Fujifilm/Fujinon 56mm f1.2 ($999 USD) with the Viltrox 56mm f1.4 ($329 USD). Basic info: Both lenses feature a durable metal body and have rings for focus and for aperture. Both lenses come with lens hoods, but I prefer the metal Viltrox hood over the plastic Fujifilm hood.

Viltrox 56mm F1.4 review. No way I can afford the 56mm F1.2 so went with the Viltrox. Cost me £220 new with a discount code. I used it to shoot a ballet for a church production - sadly due to GDPR I cannot share any of the photos. What can I say much to my actual surprise under most conditions it's a belter. AF is plenty fast.
